At The Institute of Make Up Arts (IMUA) we provide a flexible program to meet the needs of our students. Because we understand how important scheduling is, we offer flexible courses to make it possible for you to successfully complete the program. At IMUA we offer day, evening, and weekend courses.  Classes are in session Monday through Sunday whether you attend full-time or part-time.

The Freelance Makeup Artistry is our most comprehensive program for those who want to be well-rounded in every aspect of media. This program prepares students for employment in the cosmetic, bridal, television, salon/spa, special events and photography industries in just 5 weeks for the full-time program and 6 weekends for the part-time program.

The students will begin with the basics of beauty and launch into creating glamour looks that will get you noticed! At the end of the program, the students will style an entire photo shoot with live models. This style of real life experience is sure to give students the confidence and motivation that they need for the job market.

Our program goes above and beyond the skill set of makeup, you will also learn the business side of the industry.  Upon finishing the program, the students will have all of the business basics needed to be successful in the industry.  A Certificate of Completion will be presented upon completing the program.
